My mom was a CVT for 20+ years and I grew up around animals of all kinds. I wanted to get into veterinary medicine since I was little and was able to see what my mom did. All my jobs when I was younger involved animals in some capacity. I started at Lakeside Animal Hospital in 2021 as a receptionist and have grown my skills over the last several years. I am currently a veterinary assistant. I love my job and being able to help both clients and their pets. My goal is to become a CVT like my mom.  

Outside of work I love to travel, sing, spend time with family, and watch Gilmore Girls (seen it 8+ times). I have 3 siblings, a younger sister and younger brother as well as an older sister. I have a Chihuahua and three cats as well as a family German Shepard dog.  

I plan on continuing to work towards getting my CVT certification. My favorite things to do at work are assisting in surgery and monitoring anesthesia.
