Dr. Sweet will be joining Lakeside Animal Hospital in late May 2022.

Dr. Sweet is a Wisconsin native originally from Hartland, WI. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Spanish from UW-River Falls in 2016 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She is passionate about providing quality, accessible care to animals and people from all walks of life and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

She currently lives with her wife, Kelsey, and their pack of rescue animals including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Dr. Sweet is a huge fan of pugs and has 3 of them at home amongst her other creatures. She enjoys reading, quality time with her family and pets, and a good TV show. Dr. Sweet has an interest in caring for dogs, cats, and exotic animals and loves to help clients who speak Spanish (habla español). She loves all creatures, big and small!
