Dr. Kowitz graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1990 and joined the Lakeside staff in 1995. He brings amazing experience to this practice, and clients really like working with him for his compassion and his ability to talk medicine in ways that are easily understood. He is our ultrasound guru and is very willing to explain and teach his colleagues about ultrasound. In his words “The camaraderie and cooperation of the staff is wonderful”.

When not working he enjoys singing, church activities, golf and fishing. He and his wife, Melissa, have two children Matthew and Hope. Their household also includes four furry family members – two cats, Baxter and Phinneas, and two dogs, Shamus and Rosalita. The Kowitz family enjoys all the different types of entertainment Milwaukee offers – sports, music and theater as well as the culture diversity found in the area.
