I went to UW Milwaukee and graduated with a bachelor's in biology. I explored various jobs in human medicine, but then decided I was more suited for Veterinary Medicine. I got a position as a receptionist working for the veterinary clinic, I took my dog too.  I wanted to be able to apply my biology and medical knowledge, so I started working more with animals. I have since transitioned to being a certified veterinary technician which I accomplished in 2023. I am now in a leadership role with Lakeside Animal Hospital and continue to learn and grow.  

Outside of work I enjoy songwriting, playing piano, and singing.  

I live with my partner, Monica and our 3 dogs Lucy (pit mix), Lenny and Betty (dachshunds). We also have 2 fish tanks, one community tank and one for our Betta fish (Elton John). I have a ball python named Salazar or Sal for short.   

I was in the local 4H program growing up and raised pigs and chickens.
