Garrett Beth
Garrett grew up raising and caring for livestock through his local 4H program, where he learned the value of working hard with friends and treating animals with kindness and empathy. In 2012, he moved from his family's farm in the woods to study Biology and Chemistry at UW-Milwaukee, where the wonders of animal development, genetics, and cell biology enchanted him. Garrett has stayed close to the city, enjoying the diversity of food, entertainment, and culture available, as well as its nearness to the water. Ever fascinated by animal behavior, he decided to enter the veterinary field after exploring various jobs in human medicine.
In the summer, Garrett and his partner, Monica, spend most of their free time with friends and family on the lake - he jokingly refers to this as his "real job" (and he loves when they call for overtime)! He also enjoys writing songs about his dreams, playing the piano, drawing, and painting. When he's not exploring or making art, you can spot Garrett at his cozy, lamp-lit bungalow: singing, gardening, renovating, and dancing. Garrett and Monica live with a Dalmatian-Pit mix named Lucy, a Dachshund named Lenny, a ball python named Sal, and many colorful fish.
